| Paul's Story |
At birth, my biological mother had two children that she was unable to take care of. My older
sister was taken in by my grandmother, but she was unable to take the both of us in. She decided that it would be best if she gave me up for adoption. I was later adopted before the age of one.
Since being adopted, I've seen my sister a total of eight times, and I still to this day haven't met my biological father.
After 13 years of living life with a family, my adopted father passed away
right before the family moved from the city of Clairton. Two years later, which was my sophomore year of high school, my adopted mother passed away 6 days before my
birthday. Her funeral was on my birthday, which was also the day I lost a very close friend of mine.
After all the tragedies that occured in my life, I've used them as motivation to help me
achieve what I want to achieve and to do things that they would have been proud of. |
| How has having a laptop helped you in school? |
| Having this laptop has helped me doing assignment outside of the classroom which helped me improve with outside the
class work which resulted in having better grades. |
| What are your plans after graduation? |
| My plan for after I graduate is to start a family with my lovely girlfriend, move to the south and become a defense
attorney. |
